Oh, no need to feel bad! It's something I started thinking about in my second run-through of the story. They're definitely a heavier fixture in the beginning of the story than they are in the end - they're sort of just used as a plot device to get Brayden to the J's - and I do think there's so much more of their story to tell. :)
