I never start watching a show until it's half over anymore so I don't have to sit through any commercials. They kill me. I'm so spoiled! And I think I would be right there with you, getting up without thinking, going to get a snack or possibly just fast-forwarding because I forget until half-way through the show that I'm supposed to be watching the commercials.
