One of my favorite things about this Jensen is that he's always been exactly who he is, even when that guy wasn't so much healthy. He doesn't try to pretend that he's better or worse off than he is. He knows he needs Jared, and he wants Jared, but he never loses sight of who he was before, or even who he is now outside of Jared. He comes across as the more damaged one in these stories, but he's really pretty fuckin' strong deep down.
