And even though we get introduced to them so much further down the line, it doesn't make that history any less important. I kind of feel like it makes the history more important. Especially if I'm going to tell you that they need to be together and there's no one else in the world for them and blah, blah, romcom cliche, blah. I'm glad that you could see where they were coming from and why they worked together. That bond was the most important thing in the story for me, so it always makes me a little giggly to hear that it worked!
And I'll also never quite get over Jensen's character. That is the coolest compliment. The characters have always been more important to me than the situations that I throw them into (which probably says something about me as a writer - I just don't know what), so knowing that you connect with one of them that strongly just makes me smile 'til my face hurts. Thank you!
