That's definitely one perfectly valid opinion. Not everyone is going to react in the same way to a situation like this - I'm kind of like Jared when it comes to what people have done before today. There are a lot of things that I did when I was much younger, far less experienced, and way more immature that I wouldn't dream of doing today (nothing like Jensen did, but things that I wouldn't be proud to tell everyone about nonetheless). I think everybody has, so I guess I'd kind of like to believe that there are still some people believe that the past can be the past. While I'll agree it shapes the future, I also think that people can learn from their mistakes and grow - that they don't have to be locked into the same sordid pattern forever.
It's so far from a black and white issues - that's part of what I love about it!
