The Mechanics of Falling (Art for pictures2words)

So, awhile back I decided that I wanted to get involved in some kind of challenge. Since I suck at writing on a deadline, I figured I could ease my way into the whole thing with some art.

Enter pictures2words, wherein artists submit covers and banners and icons and authors choose to write a story based on a sample of that work:

imaginethehappy claimed me, and took things in a direction I never would have even considered. It's the most adorable J2 AU, and y'all should run, not walk, on over to check out The Mechanics of Falling. It's funny, and schmoopy, and hot: all the elements I love in a good J2 AU.

I was on kind of shaky ground - I usually do art after a story is finished (and it's usually my own stuff, so if it blows, I only have myself to blame). But this was fun - I had a great time with it!
