Mid-life Crisis. . .
Oct. 12th, 2009 02:55 pmDoes dying my hair purple and getting a new tattoo in the two weeks directly proceeding my thirtieth birthday constitute a midlife crisis?
I'm thinking 'no' - since it's not the first time I've done either of those things (well, the purple is new, but bright colors aren't). One of the older ladies at work disagrees and says that I'm acting out against the aging process.
Also, should I be worried that she thinks 30 is my mid-life? I'd really like to think I'll live beyond 60.

Maybe I'm outgrowing it. :) I'm actually completely stoked to be thirty - I feel like I've been waiting for this for years . . . I just thought it was kind of crazy, and wondered if it was just me who felt that way.
