Where Did All the Time Go?

I think I have the busiest day EVER planned for today. I have to try to get a beta job that I promised forever ago finished today while I'm working, shop for last-minute trip essentials tonight when I get off, head over to the BFF's house to grab her GPS before I go home to pack for Wincon. (I know, most people are showing up today - my boss didn't so much see how I needed days off more than someone who was taking a trip out of the country, so I'm going tomorrow night.)

Somewhere in there, I have to find time to work on my spn_reversebang and figure out how to stop being such a pitiful pile of nerves about this weekend. I might pass out before this one's over!

For those of you who didn't see it, I did a few short comment fics for National Coming Out Day. There's some Disclaimer there, a Creative Control one, the HS threesome, and a few others (9 in total) that you can check out here, if you want to.

Alright, time to stop whining about how busy I am and actually go be busy!

RL has been a little crazy for like the last month. Nothing personal but a lot of people around me are having a though time and it's draining. I kinda put my head in the sand about that last disclaimer because I'm in such a weird place right now that it's freaking me out that one of my comfort verses is over. I'm scared to read the end even though I totally understand your reasons for finishing it. Yea, see, I told you I'm in a weird place right now. Hopefully a friend will get some good news we are all desperately hoping/praying/crossing fingers for this weekend and I'll be able to read it as a treat.

Oh, I totally get it. I met some QAF fangirls a few years ago on a trip to San Francisco. I was really excited about it up to making plans on the phone and all that stuff. I was getting ready to leave the hotel and get to the restaurant and thought wtf am I doing and almost canceled. I'm so glad I got over my nerves. Everyone was just as awesome as they are on line and ironically, the person I knew the least on line and I just clicked. She's not only one of my closest on line friends now I also consider her one of my dearest friends ever. We can spend hours on the phone and just, you know, I'm grateful for that friendship.

I know it's going to be awesome, but I'm pretty freaked right now. I always forget that I have this social anxiety until I plan something like this and then have to go through with it. I'll spend tonight and tomorrow freaking out and hopefully, when I get there, I'll be alright. It would be easier if there was going to be someone around that I know, outside of the internet. I'll make it, though. It'll be worth it, I'm sure.
