It's been awhile since I've done one of these and there is only so many YouTube videos I can watch between loads of laundry. So I feel like writing some short and sweet comment fic. Anything goes; just remember that it's only going to be 1K (give or take) so try not to prompt anything too epic. Since I'm going to be busy for the rest of the weekend, I can only promise to fill one prompt per person. Anything from any of my verses is fair game, too.

In the meantime, I'm going to re-read some WIPs and see if anything nudges my BB interest!

ETA: This post is now closed to prompts. I'm so sorry I've been so slow in filling these! Hopefully, I'll get to a finishing a good portion of them this week - my vacation starts Thursday, so if I don't get yours finished before then, definitely look for it over the weekend!

In an effort to appease Jensen – Jared doesn't care what Jensen says, he's totally pouting about not getting his way – Jared lets him select the next lot they visit. Though he's already turned down the Bently, the Viper, and the Aston Martin, Jared's not totally surprised when Jensen pulls into the Jaguar lot.

With a groan, Jared hops out of his truck cab and fights the urge to vigorously shake his head when Jensen rolls his eyes and starts to turn the key in the ignition again. Jared can at least humor the guy for the sake of domestic tranquility, can't he?

Jared slams the truck door and waits for Jensen, his eyes quickly grazing the lot. He's learned that the lack of prices in the windows mean they're too fucking expensive. The salesman hurries out to greet them and Jensen starts asking questions about models that make Jared wonder if this is some kind of set-up.

“That one,” Jensen finally says, grabbing Jared's hand and dragging him to a nearby, bright red XKR (http://www.jaguar.com/content/global/assets_gws_45/nameplate/xk/exterior/lhd_na/A4_US_xk_LHD_MY11_SalsaRed_Nevis_XKR-1008x567.jpg) convertible with the smallest back seat Jared has ever seen.

“I'm too big for this car,” he insists automatically.

Jensen just rolls his eyes. “Get in,” he says, yanking the driver's side door open.

It's actually roomier than it looks. Jared eases into the seat and fits his hand against the steering wheel. It's kind of comfortable. Definitely not the worst suggestion Jensen's made today.

Bending over, Jensen rests his folded arms on the door and says, “You have any idea how fuckin' hot you look in this car?” Jared starts to protest when Jensen says, “Best part? It's a '99. Only has fifteen thousand miles on it, but it's used.”

If he wasn't sure before, Jared is now. Jensen has been planning this. “You like it, huh?” he asks, turning his face to find Jensen grinning like this is the greatest thing he's ever seen. “Why don't you get in for a second and let me see somethin',” he suggests.

Jensen does as he's told and Jared can't deny that he looks pretty damn good in the passenger's seat. Growing up, he never would have imagined that owning a car like this would be possible. He was even less convinced that having a guy like that in it with him was anything more than a ridiculous fantasy.

“Am I gonna have to blow you in the backseat to sell you on it?” Jensen asks, slipping his sunglasses onto his head and wiggling his eyebrows while he trails his tongue over his bottom lip.

Jared laughs and grips the steering wheel. “How 'bout you wait 'til we get it home, huh?”

You know, now I'm picturing Jared in this car...and it's a really, really great picture in my head!

I love how you made Jared seem a bit tight with his money. It fits with his character throughout the verse. I couldn't see him just going out and blowing a bunch of money on a car (only on something that would allow him to spoil someone else).
