So yesterday, vamphile posted a poll about what she should write next. This morning, while working on a Creative Control time stamp, I realized that I have three WIPs that I could possibly turn into new stories, but I don't know which way I want to go, or even if I should try. So I'm totally ripping off Vamp's idea and leaving it up to y'all.

Where do I go? What do I do? Prod me. Guide me. Prompt me. HELP ME!

Oh, well much like in fic, when the government makes you a hooker, it goes something like this:

"We found a small, out-of-the-way town for you to hide in, and an identity for you to assume. You'll be a hooker, but don't worry - your only tricks will be incredibly good-looking and only want you to do what you're comfortable doing. Also, they'll always make sure that you get off, too, before they ask you kindly to leave. If you meet one you're particularly fond of and find yourself falling in love with, the bad men will stop trying to find you and kill you and everyone will live happily ever after. . . Yes, I'm completely serious. . . You are welcome."

The sequel can be where Jared loses hope to ever hear Jensen's voice again (because he did lose the phone number) and becomes a hooker for the government. Kind of like Alias meets Nikita, only more gay and with less spying. Same amount of ridiculous wigs, though.

Ah, I should stop. I need to go back to writing... riiight. (I can fit that audiobook charity thing into a fic, actually, but it went past 18k words and I've lost interest. If I ever dig it out again and finish it, you'll get a mention in the disclaimer for being encouraging. Maybe in a couple years time, someone will pop onto storyfinders, asking 'I rembr this Story where Janson and Jured rad audiobuks 4 Charity.' - and then I'll know I made it. :D)

I love when people are looking for my stuff there - once, I was reading the request and I got all the way through it before I realized they were looking for my fic. The human brain is an interesting thing that recalls the most obscure details sometimes.

I mostly get embarrassed by the storyfinders comm of Supernatural, because they only look for my blindfold fics. (And the things I wrote there shall never get out. But possibly be continued in the next round. XD *shameface*) I had two last week and then debated with myself if I should be so corny and reply. I did, but quietly and anonymously and feeling horrible for commenting. (I don't know why! It's just weird to link to my own story. :/) Talk about obscure details. One of the requesters could only remember the title of the series and I gave my series the most disgusting, unimaginative title ever. Arrgh. It all comes back to haunt you, I tell you. *g*

I love storyfinders, though. Some people ask for the weirdest things. (And secretly I repost the weirdest requests to my LJ to amuse my flist. :p But don't tell anyone.)

Do you go back and re-read them? I have trouble re-reading my sex scenes . . . IDK, I think the situations are hot or whatever, but I don't read them and go 'DAMN!' Maybe that's just me.

I do when I write a sequel, so I can make sure I'm not repetitive. I don't want five blowjobs that read exactly the same in one story.

But other than that, not really. It's kinda weird, because when I re-read, I discover bits that weren't hot, or ridiculous typos, etc. Whenever I read through an old story, sex scene, fic, anything, I just want to edit and edit. Add a sentence here, strike on there, fix some emotion there... and so on. Counterproductive!
