Summary: Laying your heart on the line while drunk off your ass is never a good idea, and nobody knows that better than Jensen, editor-in-chief of Coda Online. But a fifth of whiskey and one incredibly wasted blog post does give him the chance to rebuild his friendship with Jared, who he hasn't spoken to in two years. Now all he has to do is convince Jared that he's not the same guy he was in college, which may prove difficult since Jared's not, either.

I snagged both the soundtrack and the PDF a while ago, forgot to comment and tell you so, and finally got around to finishing the fic earlier today. I'm here to leave feedback now and just let you know that I really, really loved this fic. As I see someone else mentioned above me, you did a really good job interweaving both the different timelines and the different POVs. I also loved your characterizations, not just of the Js but of Steve (lol) and Aldis and Chris and stuff without really ever distracting from the fact that the heart of the story was this relationship between the Js and how it developed and such.

Anyway. I liked this quite a lot. Awesome job. Congrats!

Just read a pdf of Coda. What a great story! Loved how I was able to slip into J2's world so easily. Laughed out loud at Jared's email to Jensen after he accidentally came out - just perfect! The webpage and art are TOO COOL as well. Great job!

This story is amazing. Both because of the different timelines that you've (seamlessly, it feel) sewn into the present-time story, but because of the way you write. There's something undeniably alluring about your style, and though I would like to say it's this or that, there's really no way to describe it. The way you think things shines through the slightest bit in your writing. You painted the characters richly, beautifully, and though this is an AU fic and it's usually that much easier to lose the characters like that, you held onto what makes them who they are, amplified it, and added onto that.

Just. Amazing. This was the highlight of my week!
