To be honest, when I re-read what I had written, I was a little afraid that Adrianne came off kind of skeevy, standing in the shadows, waiting for Jen to turn 18. That's not how it was intended AT ALL! In my head, she's only twenty-one or two (I probably should have said that somewhere in the fic.)
