Have you ever seen a trailer for a movie and you just know that you shouldn't see it because you're going to cry until someone writes an adaptation of it? Or until you do it yourself?

I just saw one and now I want this movie in my life more than I want chocolate or sex or air.

Also, I want to read fic where one or both guys are trying to 'keep it simple' and 'not get attached.' Any suggestions?

I was having lunch/watching Ricky Martin on Oprah with two of my best girls and we already made a date to go see it. After we are totally going to our favorite dessert place and sharing something chocolate and decadent. ;D

ETA: I just watched it again and on a completely shallow note, I am completely jealous of her hairstylist for this film. That's my exact type of hair. If I could actually get it to look that good myself I'd probably ditch my beloved flat iron. OMG so much love for the hair.

I have this problem where I pretty much want J2 adaptations of EVERY movie I watch, doesnt even matter what it is about :) but this one? YES! most definitely. Its not a very new fic but I only just came across it.
The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the author thought it necessary to change the names of Jared and Jensens family members.
Why? What is wrong with their real names? You are already writing RPS so why not let people keep their own names? aaaarch! (end of rant)

Some people feel uncomfortable using the names of their family members because they're not celebrities. The guys and their wives have all submitted themselves to the public eye and are therefore "fair game" but using their actual families, who have made no such concession, is squicky for some people. Changing their names feels a little less invasive, I guess.

That's one of those things that varies so much from person to person but I can see it from both sides.

Yes I know.
But this is one of the things that squicks me! I don't mind other actors being cast in the role of parent.
And I don't mind if the whole configuration of the family is changed complete with totally different names.
But I can't seen to get past slightly altered names for the boys family members :-( Wen I read it my mind keeps trying to correct the altered name and it breaks the flow of reading. Guess that is just me being odd

It's from this years Big Bang so you may have read it but Screw You We're From Texas" (http://makeit-takeit.livejournal.com/7249.html#cutid1) is close to what you're looking for. It deals with deeper issues than just the boys trying to keep it casual but it's epic and amazing and beautiful. I can't recommend it enough.
