So, I woke up at 5:30 this morning with an upset stomach and starting watching The World Series of Poker on ESPN, as you do, until it was time to get ready for work. It was there that I heard this quote (I have no idea who to credit for this as I know nothing about the pro Poker circuit. I know he was wearing a hat. And sunglasses.): "Lady Luck hangs out with the guys who practice hard." So, uh, let that inspire you? I don't know, I just liked it. I was also sick, so take it for what it's worth, I guess.

So, I decided to pinch hit for the spn_fs_exchange and am currently putting the finishing touches on that fic, then I'm clear until j2_afterclass in January. Well, I have a hs_bingo card to play with but it's not due until May so I'm, ya know, procrastinating.

I ♥ you guys, but I suck at holiday cards and gifts. What I can do is comment fic. Here are the stipulations:

1.) Fic will be roughly 1000 words.
2.) No pairing is off-limits.
3.) You can request more than one prompt but I can only promise one fill per person, so make sure the fic you most want to see is prompted first.
4.) Prompts can be holiday-themed but they don't have to be, unless they come from the Disclaimer 'verse.

Um, a fic request? to be honest *glancing at the many Disclaimer requests* I...kinda want a coffee verse one? Maybe Jared convincing Jensen not to go outside? You know, something adorably snuggly and puppy pile-like, that'll warm you up as you write it. Coffee Verse: Jared convinces Jensen to stay in bed all day 1/2

A/N: I know you wanted snuggly but I hope this is okay.

The alarm that goes off at seven is not Jared's, surprisingly. Even though he's currently unemployed, his alarm still shatters Jensen's sleepy peace on a daily basis. If he wasn't cute like a puppy and still hot like a professional athlete first thing in the morning, Jensen would break up with him for his sleeping habits alone.

Today, though, it's Jensen who has somewhere to be. “Gotta get up,” he growls against Jared's hair, trying his best to extricate himself from a mess of arms and legs that have wrapped themselves around him like vines during the night.

Gumbling incoherently, Jared tightens his hold and buries his face against Jensen's shoulder. “No,” is the only word Jensen manages to translate.

The thing is, Jensen would love to give in and stay here, cocooned against Jared's chest for the entire day. It's a good chest – hard, warm, smooth – and he can definitely think of a thing or two he'd like to do to it.

“I have an installation,” he explains, managing to free a leg.

Somehow, Jared kicks hard enough under the covers to pin that leg back to the mattress, his body nearly covering Jensen's. As far as Jensen knows, he still hasn't opened his eyes. “Stay.”

Fingers brushing the back of Jared's neck, Jensen allows himself a few more minutes of enjoying this. A few months ago, he didn't know if he would ever have it again. Now he wakes up to it every day. He's not a guy who deserves this kind of thing but he's sure as hell not offering to give it back.

“Much as I would love to lay here and have monosyllabic conversations with you all morning, somebody's gotta make some money around here.”

Once the words are out, Jensen realizes how harsh they sound. He really doesn't mind paying the bills and making sure that they have food while Jared looks for a job. Hell, if Jared would let him, Jensen would happily be his sugar daddy, take care of everything so Jared could just lay around, naked and waiting for Jensen to walk through the door every day.

He breathes a little easier when Jared huffs, “Bah,” against his neck and wakes up enough to bite his earlobe.

Laughing, Jensen tries once more to pull free of Jared's octopus hold. All he manages to do is wedge Jared's leg tighter between his own, pressing his thigh hard against Jensen's cock and eliciting a moan that doesn't exactly say Let me up, I have places to go.

“If I don't get this piece installed by midnight tonight, I lose fifteen percent of my commission,” Jensen informs him, mouth dragging open against the column of Jared's throat for punctuation.

Jared protests with a grunt and rolls onto his back, managing to pull Jensen with him until Jensen can feel Jared's cock against the cut of his own hip. “This is better than commission,” he rasps, voice graveled and low from sleep.

His eyes blink open, fighting to clear the haze until they focus on Jensen's face. He's pretty sure that Jared's not just talking about the sex.

“This doesn't keep our lights on,” he counters, shifting his hips to rub against Jared's stomach.

With a disgruntled sigh, Jared pulls one arm free from Jensen's side and brushes it through his hair in defeat. “How long?” he asks, staring at the ceiling now instead of Jensen.

Distracted by the junction of Jared's ear and his jaw, Jensen leans forward and runs his tongue along the skin. “How long what?” he asks, pulling Jared's earlobe with his teeth before sucking on it.

“How long are you gonna be gone?” Jared clarifies, turning his head to give Jensen more room to lick down the side of his neck.

For a second, Jensen forgets where he's supposed to be going. “Why?” he asks when he remembers.

Rocking forward, Jared makes sure to drag his thigh with perfect pressure against Jensen's balls. “'cause I'm not leavin' this bed today.” He gives Jensen a quick kiss – it's always quick before he brushes his teeth – and then adds, “Wanna plan my nap schedule so I have energy when you get back.”

As much as the responsible side of Jensen's brain wants to ignore the comment, and the implication, his dick is a treacherous whore. “Fuck, Jared,” he groans, rutting harder against Jared's hip.

Jared just hums against his ear and slips a hand between them, teasing Jensen's cock with his knuckles. “It's a big bed, man. Plenty room for both of us.”

Before that huge hand wraps around his dick, gives a gentle tug, Jensen knows he's going to cave. It doesn't matter that he's going to lose some money or that they should be more responsible than this. It matters that Jared wants to spend an entire day with him, no stress of work or finding work, to get in the way.

This is better than commission.

Oh, thank goodness it's what you wanted. I realized, half-way through this one, that I don't write snuggling very well. They always end up naked!

As far as fic for me, I'm pretty easy. Anything you would want to write would be fine with me! (Also, I'm gonna take you up on that beta offer when I get the current longish fic I'm working on finished.)
