So, I woke up at 5:30 this morning with an upset stomach and starting watching The World Series of Poker on ESPN, as you do, until it was time to get ready for work. It was there that I heard this quote (I have no idea who to credit for this as I know nothing about the pro Poker circuit. I know he was wearing a hat. And sunglasses.): "Lady Luck hangs out with the guys who practice hard." So, uh, let that inspire you? I don't know, I just liked it. I was also sick, so take it for what it's worth, I guess.

So, I decided to pinch hit for the spn_fs_exchange and am currently putting the finishing touches on that fic, then I'm clear until j2_afterclass in January. Well, I have a hs_bingo card to play with but it's not due until May so I'm, ya know, procrastinating.

I ♥ you guys, but I suck at holiday cards and gifts. What I can do is comment fic. Here are the stipulations:

1.) Fic will be roughly 1000 words.
2.) No pairing is off-limits.
3.) You can request more than one prompt but I can only promise one fill per person, so make sure the fic you most want to see is prompted first.
4.) Prompts can be holiday-themed but they don't have to be, unless they come from the Disclaimer 'verse.

Smiling at the waitress when she sets another round in front of them, Jared waits until she’s gone to turn his attention back to Jensen. “Went out a few times. He was cool.”

He tries to keep his voice from cracking when he asks, “Was?”

Jared just nods, easy as anything, and admits, “Kinda told him I was waitin’ to see if this other thing panned out.”

“Sucks for him.” Jensen can’t really help it, the way his smile just keeps growing until his cheeks start to hurt with it. “So, you wanna grab some dinner?”

“Already ate dinner.”

“I didn’t mean right now.”

He slips out of the booth just as smoothly as he slipped in. “I do,” he winks, turning to leave without waiting to see if Jensen is going to follow.

As if Jensen isn’t going to follow him.

He settles his tab and strolls out of the bar, trying his best to look more composed and less spastic than he feels. He might yelp a little when Jared grabs his arm and pulls him around the side of the building, but he’s totally not going to admit it.

Breath hot on his neck, he hears Jared’s voice rumbling against the shell of his ear. “Couldn’t stop thinking about you.” He bites, fast and sharp, at the lobe. “Fucked my head all up the second I met you.”

Without words, Jensen spreads his legs and slumps against the wall, letting Jared press against him while their mouths collide, tongues battling, breathing labored and ragged. Jensen moans when Jared’s hand slides into the back of his hair, shielding him from the brick wall when he slams his head back at the feeling of Jared’s mouth on his collarbone.

“My place,” he gasps, hard enough to want it here but not enough to take it where just anyone can see. After months of thinking about this, he’s damn well going to keep Jared all to himself tonight.

Growling against his neck, Jared asks, “You gonna leave me again in the morning?” while his hips rock against Jensen’s, the motion of it reckless and wanting.

Jensen just swallows back the urge to tell Jared he might never leave him again. One arm hooks around his neck, he twists until he can put some distance between their mouths, feeling the long, hard line of Jared’s cock against his thigh.

“Not goin’ anywhere,” is all he can manage to say. Jared can interpret that any way he wants.

what an impression jensen must have made on jared. i love the idea of this. that after so long apart they're still thinking of one another and made effort to make a reunion happen. very sweet.

That was amazing. And I adore how much you can say in so little words! We already get to know these versions of the boys, see how they would dress, behave and look at each other. Wonderful writing, really.
