I'll Take Any Distraction at This Point

So I was inadvertently roped into this by
dugindeep and
earthquakedream. I could exercise self-control and actually think for myself, but being a sheep is so much easier.
1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up.
Nail polish, cell phone, dvd remote, laptop, lighter
2. How do you style your hair?
With a hair dryer, flat iron, heat spray, hair spray ... If I'm lazy, I just use hair gel and let it dry itself.
3. What are you wearing now?
This question sounds vaguely dirty, but I'll answer anyway. Black pajama pants and a Cure tee shirt.
4. What's your occupation?
Circulation Librarian
5. What do you hear right now?
SPN 1.7 - Hookman
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
My niece.
7. What is/was for dinner?
Chicken quesadillas
8. What did you do today?
Worked, came home for dinner, went to a children's program at the library so my niece could meet Amelia Bedelia (which is how I earned my hug), and then came home to pretend to write. Oh, I also watched Glee (what the hell, man?) and White Collar (I still <3 Bomer's pretty, pretty face).
9. Dog person or cat person?
Dogs. I'm allergic to cats.
10. If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?
When I was younger, I wanted to be named Eve, though I don't remember why. Now that she's the mother of all evil, I might need to re-think.
11. What color/pattern are the linens on your bed?
My sheets are black and cream. I can't really describe the pattern because I'm not so good with words.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Australia's my number one dream, but ask me again in a year and my answer will be Wales (because my sister will be living there.)
13. Favorite band/musician?
I don't even have one right now, I don't think. Of all time, I'm not even sure I can say. This is impossible! Green Day will always be special to me for a few reasons.
14. Favorite book?
Fiction or Non?
Fiction: To Kill a Mockingbird. Non-Fiction: The Five Love Languages
15. What are you doing this weekend?
Workin'. I have Friday off and I'm hoping to do some writing, but I have to work on Saturday.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
I can tinker with the piano but I haven't taken lessons in years. If I could, I'd play the guitar, though.
17. How are you?
Still grappling with the cold that won't let go. And a little worried about a couple of friends. Otherwise, I don't have much to complain about.
18. What are you doing tomorrow?
I need to go buy a microwave in the morning, then work, then band rehearsals.
19. What are you looking forward to the most?
Sleeping in tomorrow and Friday.

What I find funny is that almost everyone who's answers I've seen list their cell phone in the 5 things they see. I think we're all a bit addicted to technology.
Sorry that you're still sick. Being sick is never, ever fun. Hope you feel better soon.
